I'm inspired each day by ordinary things like the sunrise, the way light pours through the windows of our home. My photography is an expression of how I see the world, our little corner of it, and the beauty already flooding our everyday lives. I'm a firm believer that we just have to pause long enough to notice.  I'm so inspired by art that captures human emotion and authentic joy. All of this motivates and shapes the images I create.

I live near Kansas City, where the sunset over the lake is the best part of every day, with my incredible husband, Robb, who photographs alongside me.

I love Jesus, rainy afternoons, and I'm a sucker for happy hour margaritas on a patio.

When I was gifted my first camera at twelve, I immediately began to capture and cherish moments that may have been ordinary to others, but to me were art.
